People from various parts of the world came to tell us about the autism awareness. Their aim is to make the longest poster in the world to enter Guiness World Book Of Records.  -Sandra

 News channel

Year 7 is conducting a news channel that will relay messages throughout the school. There are totally 14 members in the news channel team. We the news channel team were inspired by the sixth form when they did the radio channel so we thought of doing something a little bit more creative. Hopefully we want to start this week. Also, as our school doesn’t only encourage academics but it also helps to show your talents, so here we are showing our talents and showing that we can be as creative as the sixth form students. Hopefully it will be successful.                          -Crystal

SPORTS DAY 2015

The sports day was excellent and my friends and I enjoyed it so much as it was so interesting. I participated in 5 sports activities which was: 100 meters racing, Relay race, Throw ball, Basketball and Soccer. And so I won 4 medals. Unfortunately, my house (Sigma) didn’t win any award but I hope next time we will win. I was also happy for the other houses who won the trophies.                                                                                                                                                                                  By:-Nada

It was so exciting meeting Richard Scrimger in person; I was even more excited that I got chosen to see Richard among the 33 girls from my class. When some students including me were waiting for Richard,  we all started to talk about how much he’s books are so interesting and unique form other writers, when he arrived we all started to get along with him. It was really fun and gripping we got to know that he was not only funny through his books but also that he is funny in real life. We all had a chance to ask him some questions like the name of his upcoming book is ……, or what inspired him to start writing stories? He was really intelligent and he also gave us some tips on being a good writer.   BY:- SANDRA

TEACHERS DAY

I taught year 5 Math and English. I thought that teaching was easy, but only from my experience as a student teacher I can understand how teachers put up with students. If the students can’t understand the topic, that means they can’t understand the teacher. I tried much hard as I could to make the students understand the topic clearly and not miss any single point, but I was a bit nervous as well as excited to teach the class. This was a great experience for me and I appreciate what teachers do for us. BY:- NADA
